The potential of essential oils (EOs) and natural plant extracts to inhibit Penicillium digitatum (PD), Penicillium italicum (PI), and Geotrichum citri-aurantii (GC), the most economically important pathogens causing postharvest diseases of citrus fruits, was evaluated in in vitro studies.
